There are various high quality objectivist sites on the internet and some of those sites consider art from the objectivist perspective. What I intend to do here is to collect together objectivists' movie reviews and make them available for perusal to objectivists and other websurfers who may find them of interest.
This site is an interactive one. It is to be driven largely by you, the objectivist reviewer. The intent is that you will write a review of a film you have seen, liked or disliked, from the viewpoint of one familiar with the philosophy of Ayn Rand - Objectivism. I shall then add your review to the site listing under the movie title in the reviews section and other surfers shall be able to read it. In time I would like to build up a library of film reviews to afford objectivists the opportunity of considering fellow objectivists thoughts on many diverse movies. This may enhance your enjoyment and selection of the films in the future and we know how rare quality films are. Freeservers.com (my host) offers 20MB capacity which is an enormous potential as I shall be keeping site design space efficient. Note that this is an amatuer site, there will not be flash macromedia pazzaz or updated links to movie news. It's just movie reviews, objectivist movie reviews.
In time I intend to add a discussion board so that visitors may discuss films with eachother in an open forum. Visitor levels don't really warrant that addition as yet.
I shall lay down no strict guidelines on length or content of your reviews and I shall contact each and every reviewer with acknowledgement of receipt and posting of their review. I do reserve the right to disregard reviews I consider to be spurious and will inform the sender as to why but the intention is for you to air your views and interpretations freely.
I will not claim copyright to your reviews and will include your e-mail and homepage adresses with your review unless you state that you would prefer me not to. This will give readers the opportunity to enter an e-mail dialogue with you directly.
